No internet access is required to locate the hotspots for the iPhone, however internet access is required for the iTouch. Internet access is required for both iPhone/iTouch to locate wifi locations on Google map application. Make sure you have clear GPS single and Location Service is turned on. This App doesn't provide free access to the hoptspots; it just provide a address information and location on Google Map.
