ColorLab lets you pick colors from seven different sources: the standard color dialog, sampling a point on the screen, sampling an average of a 7x7 pixel screen area, adjusting Red-Green-Blue and/or Hue-Saturation-Luminance values (graphically or numerically), adjusting the current color's brightness +/- 5, 10, 15 or 20%, calculating the "average color" of a GIFF or JPEG, choosing from the 216 color WebSafe Palette, or by importing colors from the body tag of a web document. <br><br> Once you have a color, or several colors, you can: <ul><li>Create and tweak color schemes for Windows </li><li>Pick the nearest 'web-safe' color </li><li>View sample text in the 16 standard colors with the chosen color as background. </li><li>Copy hex codes and HTML tags by double clicking a list of common tags (Floating list stays on top while working with other programs) </li><li>'Blend' two colors to get a smooth range or colors </li><li>Save your favorites! Favorites can also be copied to the clipboard, printed, or be used to generate an HTML color chart for the web! (Ironic, I know...) Alternate style! </li><li>Test your web graphics against your color as a background. </li><li>Build an HTML color scheme and copy the BODY tag to the clipboard or export to an HTML or ASP file.</li></ul>
