Check your speedTwisper is an easy to use twitter status updater. It is a desktop 'toolbar' application where you can update your twitter status by hitting a few keys, instead of having to go to twitter.com to tweet. You do not have to enter your password into the application if you are skeptical about using it. Twisper uses OAuth to connect with your twitter account, which just requires you to click a link inside the application, grab a pin from twitter and you're set to go.
