The Twenty-Four Hour Movie turns your desktop into a time-lapse! All you need to do is turn your favorite time-lapse movie or slow-motion action scene into a series of desktop images and drag them into this program. Watch your desktop evolve as it plays through the sequence over the course of an hour, day, week, month, or even year. Unlike the Desktop & Screen Saver preference pane, your image sequence will play consistently over the time period each cycle. If you have a timelapse of your favorite vista changing from day to night, it will follow the time of day, so your desktop image always looks as it does outside! The Twenty-Four Hour Movie takes advantage of new technologies in Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) to stay small and unobtrusive. No daemon will be left running on your computer to leak memory. No clumsy AppleScript will be used to change your desktop. The Twenty-Four Hour Movie is everything a Macintosh application should be: lean, straightforward, easy to use, and nothing more than what is needed.
