MedSpan not only facilitates examinations by using "yes/no/notes" answers, but also utilizes new portable information technology to expedite physician record-keeping. While other applications merely offer vocabulary, MedSpan allows a health worker to save interview notes on the iPhone/iPod and send results to a designated email account.
