iTemp is a software application for Palm OS handhelds that allows you to read and store temperature data from a Dallas Semiconductor Thermochron iButton module. iTemp allows you to:Choose the time to begin temperature takingSet a sampling rateSet high and low alarm thresholdsSet when to stop logging This method of data storage records when a critical thermal exposure occurred and helps you assign accountability for any resulting loss of product quality. Once the data has been sampled, iTemp allows you to:View a chronological log of the temperature dataView a graph of the temperature dataView a histogram of the dataView the High and Low alarms, and the duration that the temperature was in an alarm state.Save the data to a database (Enterprise edition only)Export the temperature data to a comma-separated value file (Enterprise edition only)A Thermochron is a time/temperature recorder housed in a rugged stainless steel can about the size of 5 dimes stacked one on top of another. The Thermochron is small, rugged, and easily attaches anywhere--for example, on industrial hardware, boxes, crates, pallets, air cargo containers, refrigerators, semi trailers, railroad freight cars, and archival storage rooms.You can order a Thermochron Starter Kit (DS1921K) from Dallas Semiconductor.
