You can connect to your Mac or PC using WiFi. You don't need to install a client on your computer and don't need to type in the IP address. Just share a folder on your Mac or PC and you will be able to access it on your iPhone or iPod touch. Intuitive Commander uses the SMB protocol to access your shared files. SMB is the native sharing protocol for Microsoft Windows operating systems, but it is also offered by Mac OS X (Tiger and Leopard). In Mac OS X you must enable sharing files and folders using SMB in the System Preferences / Sharing / Options dialog. Intuitive Commander's primary purpose is to transfer files between your computer and your iPhone or iPod touch, but it also has a built-in file viewer that supports the following file formats Image files (JPG, PNG, TGA uncompressed), and Text files (TXT, C, CPP, H, M, MM).

Note: The "Download Now" link directs you to the iTunes App Store, where you must continue the download process. You must have iTunes installed in order to open the link, and you must have an active iTunes account to download the application. This download may not be available in some countries."
