Virtual Mechanics SiteSpinner Pro is a powerful Windows-based authoring tool that makes it easy to design Web pages that are optimized for the desktop, iPhone, Blackberry, SmartPhone, PDA, cell phone, and any mobile device. Virtual Mechanics and Opera Software partnered to integrate Opera browser technology into the latest release of SiteSpinner Pro. With SiteSpinner Pro it is possible to design and preview web pages as they'll look using standard mobile device resolutions. This enables the user to create a layout for desktop and laptop devices, and then design a separate layout for mobile devices, ensuring that content looks good on any PDA, cell phone, or mobile device. Once separate desktop and mobile versions of the Web site have been created, SiteSpinner Pro can publish both layouts as a single file. Visitors to the site using a desktop or laptop see the standard web site. Visitors to the site using an iPhone, or other mobile device, see the mobile layout. SiteSpinner Pro also has the ability to create single desktop/mobile optimized pages, as well as mobile-only formatted content. The program's industry-standards compliant use of CSS enables pixel precision WYSIWYG design enables the precise positioning of text, graphics, rich media, etc. Additional layout enhancements including relative sizing and positioning of objects; the content moves and/or scales to fit the page. Graphics functions include image rotation/skewing/layering/transparency. With its built-in word processor, advanced layout options, and integrated graphics capabilities, it's easy to build stunning, professional looking web and mobile sites without having to learn HTML. In addition to support for developing pages for mobile devices, SiteSpinner Pro includes advanced features for the creation of Interactive Animation, including an Action Editor, Behavior Editor, and Key Frame Animator. SiteSpinner Pro supports publishing to HTML, DHTML, or SVG.
