Heart Beat is a performance test program which works by timing how long it takes your computer to do various predefined operations. It provides results which give an indication of the speed of the various components of your computer system, for example, it tests how fast 2D graphics are drawn, disc read/write times and how long your processor takes to perform a set of mathimatical operations. Heart Beat can then save sets of results from different machines and display them in a graphical comparison of system performance. Now with new features to find best of three test results and a handy 'test all' feature. The program is avaliable for Mac OS (Classic) and Mac OS X as well as for Microsoft Windows.
