Arabic PiLoc provides the Arabic Palm OS localization. Arabic PiLoc provides the Arabic localization of Palm OS. Arabic PiLoc creates an environment to operate with Palm OS in Arabic. PiLoc is a common solution of Palm OS localization problem, chosen by a number of Palm OS devices resellers.
Arabic PiLoc Palm OS localization has three versions:
for devices with Palm OS 5.0 and higher
for devices with Palm OS 3.5-4.1
for devices with Palm OS 3.0-3.3
Arabic PiLoc for Palm OS 3.5-4.1 (only for Palm III/V/VII series, Palm m1xx/m5xx series, Palm Tungsten W, Palm Zire) and Palm OS 5.x features:

- Right-to-left text input.
- Basic ligatures support (LamAlef and others).
- Correct work of search and sorting operations in Arabic text (with right-alignment).
- Correct work with text that includes both Arabic and English (select operation, cursor positioning, correct work of cut-paste-copy functions).
- Correct work with connected Arabic text (cursor positioning on a ligature, partial ligature selection, cut-paste-copy of ligature parts).
- Possibility to install several additional Palm OS language support systems (for example, Arabic and Russian).
- Arabic language support launches automatically after system reset. Program is protected from cycling reset.
- Correct functioning when installed into a Flash-ROM.
- Open API that allows changing PiLoc parameters from third party developers applications at run-time.

- Two alternative on-screen keyboard layouts for Arabic letters input.
- Text input in Arabic, Farsi (Persian), Pashto and Urdu.
- Arabic letters can be presented in several forms. It depends on letter's position in a word.
