The Task Management System is a software toolset for task assignment, estimating, and execution for any project. It consists of two applications working together:
- TaskAide - A checklist of task steps, available at the point of work.
- TaskQueue - An ordered list of assigned tasks that can be used to prioritize and status tasks.
TaskAide Features :
- Automatically tracks task completion and actual hours expended, with minimal mouse-clicks by the user taskaide.
- Interlinked hierarchy of checklists for a given project.
- Supports rapid planning and cost estimating, including documentation of basis-of-estimate information.
- Capability for remote monitoring of completion and other status.
- Supports automatic recording of metrics .
- Embedded links and references - pointers to best practices, lessons learned, explanatory text and justifications.
- Checklist generator tool integrated into reader.
- Standardized database format for task description.
- Scans designated folders for tasks and organizes them into a list (all tasks or active tasks) taskQ.
- Automatically prioritizes tasks based on optimal scheduling theory.
- Estimates expected completion times based on task hours.
- Store snapshots of task status in standardized database.
- Import task status into project tracking or productivity analysis tools.
