- GatherInfo News is a software that enables you to read RSS newsreels from your desktop, so you can browse information from dozens - or hundreds - of web sites without ever visiting them. Furthermore, GatherInfo News provides an uniform interface for reading regular Web pages (we call it NonRss). After you complete a simple configuration procedure and specify the strings separating news titles and description in the HTML source of a page, GatherInfo News parses it automatically and shows you the list of news items on the page. - GatherInfo PIM stores daily notes, tasks, events, appointments and contacts. The calendar explorer window organizes the information based on type, group or date. Use the monthly, weekly or daily editor to add simple notes. Or add events with repeat patterns and group assignment. The events, appointments, tasks have functioned with the time reminder. Both completed and uncompleted tasks are listed for easy filter. Both Contact and Main List (including events, appointments, tasks and daily notes) contains sort and field filter. Each contact can have up to 40 fields and all of them can be accessed in a single property window for easy editing. You can import/export to many formats (including text, csv, xml, vCard, vCalendar). You can print in yearly, monthly, weekly and daily formats, select which items and which event groups should be printed, change fonts and colors and print selected contacts or a group of contacts. Other tools are Recycle Bin, Clock Synchronizer, Send Mails, Clear up data. Unlike other products GatherInfo PIM is fully supported in Unicode.
