Check your speedElectrEm is an open source emulator of the Acorn Electron, a microcomputer related to the BBC Micro that was once quite popular in the United Kingdom.
The emulator strives for cycle accuracy using an event based model and is written in C++ using the SDL library. The OS X port features a full Aqua interface and the emulator can automatically launch media images, making it possible to just double click programs in the Finder and have the emulator launch and load them.
