Check your speedThe TerrainView application is the free product of ViewTec for interactive visualization of high-resolution 3D terrain and 3D object data. TerrainView supports the most common 3D formats and provides features e.g. 2D moving map display, easy navigation through multiple fly modes, 3D screenshot functions, dynamic objects, 3D measure functions, scenario creation and playback, creation of points of interest, and the ability to create videos from either saved scenarios or interactive fly-through. For the generation of realistic scenes, TerrainView offers a wide palette of lighting and weather conditions: Time of day, skybox, distant haze, volumetric clouds, rain, snow and wind effects. Supported 3D terrain and model formats are: TerraPage txp, OpenFlight flt, ViewTec ivc, OpenScenegraph ive, osg, Carbon Graphics geo, Autodesk 3ds, Discreet 3D studio max, VRML2 wrl, Design Workshop dw, Alias/Wavefront obj, LightWave3D lwo and Collada dae.
Version 4.1 is adds support for International Character Sets in POI's.
