We recently changed directly to NOAA as the chart source, as we found the charts to be more frequently updated than the previous source. Since we don't burn a disk until an order is received, and since we update our charts daily, this is important to us. Because of the change in chart source, we completely rebuilt our organization database, scrapped the use of "Regions" and have created a new set of 20 VERY logical "Chart Areas"... much improved over the previous "Regions". Since our Areas are created automatically and precisely from our exclusive database of over 50 criteria, no other vendor can currently provide a collection of these 2,160 charts with this kind of detailed organization.
