SMC EZ Connect Wireless USB Adapter(SMC2662W): The SMC2662W is a member of SMC’s family of high-performance wireless solutions. It is a wireless USB adapter that supports transfer rates up to 11 Mbps, giving you the ability to connect to a wireless network at home, at the office, at a temporary work site, or at any wireless hotspot. With the SMC2662W, you can stay connected wherever you are and wherever you go. The SMC2662W connects to an available USB port on a notebook or desktop Windows-based computer. It includes a standard USB extension cable that allows the SMC2662W to be positioned at locations that achieve the best available wireless signal reception. The SMC2662W is Wi-Fi compliant, and can connect to and interoperate with other 802.11b Wi-Fi-compliant wireless routers, access points and adapters. The SMC2662W also features 64- and 128-bit WEP encryption to provide a level of security for the data that you transmit wirelessly.
