Hârnmaster is a fantasy game that emphasizes character development and combat realism using an unique interactive skill system. Harn Character Tool supports HM3, the latest revision of the rules. It may also be used for Harnmaster Core rules, although some adaption has to be done.
Harn Character Tool generates almost fully-developed characters, ranging from unexperienced farmers to veteran knights and priests or mages. It also allows the user to create new characters from scratch, rolling the dice and filling in the values the old-fashioned way.
Three different character sheets are available - except for the seven page built-in sheets and the original Hârnmaster character sheet by Columbia Games, a beautiful character sheet by Andy Staples is also available.Also, two summary sheets are available - one for combat use and one for background information, designed by Anders Bersten. Finally, for Mage or Priest characters, a spelltome or ritual list is available.
