Atomik Xport Personal Edition (PE) solves these important issues by enabling you to automatically extract QuarkXPress content into well-formed XML. How does it work? In order to produce useful XML from QuarkXPress, Atomik Xport PE must identify and label content from the QuarkXPress document. It achieves this by scanning the document box, by box, according to the order specified in the Atomik Xport PE preferences. Content is identified and tagged primarily by looking for styling changes in the document and labelling content based on the style sheets applied, the formatting or a combination of both.
