  • Slavjanskij-QWERTY keyboard allow easy entry of old (yat', dotted i) and modern Russian (Ukrainian and Byelorussian letters may entered using option keys) for scholars and students used to the standard QWERTY layout. Stress marks for poetry and for those learning the language may be entered using option-` immediately following the vowel.

  • Slavjanskij-Transliterated keyboard layout follows the commonly accepted scholars' transliteration used in publications on Slavic linguistics.

  • Slavonic-QWERTY allows for entry of Slavonic texts including all storts of titlo and other superimposed marks used in OCS Old Church Slavonic (OCS) and Slavonic texts.

  • Slav'janskij-QWERTY is for entry of Ukrainian.

  • Works in all programs including Mail and iTunes. Support for old characters such as yat' and jus may not be available in some older Carbon-based programs such as AppleWorks. For typesetting ancient texts Unicode compatible Coca-based programs such TextEdit or Create are recommended. For Russian and Ukrainian spellchecking see CocoAspell.
