It works with standard laser printers, color printers, plotters, and imagesetters / RIPs (from Splash Technologies, Inc., EFI / Fiery and others.) MacLaser Biller works with all Macintosh applications. MacLaser Biller is a virtual photocopy count control device. It gives you all of the benefits of cost control with no hardware setup.
MacLaser Biller works with Mac OS 8 up to and including Mac OS 9.2, and with Mac OS X in Classic mode, and comes in two versions - Standard and Secure.
The Standard version of MacLaser Biller is used to bill clients for printing. Advertising agencies, design firms, graphic arts firms, architecture firms, law firms, accounting firms, consultants, and other professional firms use this version.
The Secure version of MacLaser Biller is used primarily by schools and universities to recover printing costs from students, or to restrict access to color printers. It charges for printing but does not provide any detail or logs of print jobs. A separate demo is available for the Secure users. Please e-mail us for that if you are a school or university needing the Secure version.
