If you have ever played any pen-and-paper RPGs, you know how many different types of dice you need, some of which can be very expensive. Even if you have them, rolling great deal of dice and counting and adding can be a big pain! All of your PC friends may have many dice rollers on their computer, but to my knowledge, the last dice roller for the mac was hypercard (and that's pretty old)!
As a player of AD&D, Vampire, and Mage, I needed a dice roller (I own no dice), so simply put and made Dice Roller (which I first called VM's dice roller but decided it was too egocentric). Dice Roller 1.5 and higher are carbonized for use with Mac OS X and lower, to provide support on many machines. Made for use with games that take a sum of the dice and games that use number of successes based on difficulty. It will keep a log of your dice rolls, and a window showing the last 15 rolls. It also has a macro system to make your most commonly used rolls easier. Because I've lost time to actively develop Dice Roller, it is now free, but registration through the program or online is still required! I will still work on bugfixes and sometimes add features, but it will slow down.
