NicCentral presents an easy to use GUI for commonly needed network commands such as:

  • BW whois - query many top level domain name servers for a host name
  • nmap - popular port scanner
  • nslookup - Used to query Internet domain name servers

  • whois (.arin) - Get information on IP addresses allocated in the American region
  • whois (.ripe) - Get information on hosts allocated in the European region
