Check your speedMSN Spy Monitor 2008 is a visually pleasing GUI for monitoring your PC's usage, though it isn't as autonomous as other spy tools. The program promises to screen not only MSN Messenger and Windows Messenger conversations but other programs as well. MSN Spy Monitor 2008 records IM conversations onto its intuitive interface, although its other logs aren't displayed there.
During configuration, you easily select a destination folder for recorded logs. Unfortunately, this spyware only lets you view chats on its interface and won't automatically send the logs to your folder. You'll need to press its export button first and click the HTML file created in the folder. While the program successfully created a log file during tests, sadly, it turned up empty. You can easily send logs to any e-mail address, provided you know your SMTP information.
MSN Spy Monitor 2008 has password protection and operates in stealth mode with hot key access. The trial version places a nag screen on your desktop that won't go away even when you exit the program. The trial also e-mails only a report template instead of the actual data. MSN Spy Monitor is feasible for basic Microsoft IM monitoring, but users are left wondering about its other purported capabilities. Version 6.15 improved Antivirus software immunity.
