Lexmark Tools for Office makes printing easier from within Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint 2007. Easily accessible from the Home tab of each application, Lexmark Tools for Office provides quick access to the basic printing features you need. The pages per sheet option within Word allow you to quickly save on the amount of paper you use. For PowerPoint, layout options and B/W mode will allow you to format your presentation as you need it and save on ink. And for Excel, the Fit to Page feature gets rid of those pesky extra pages by keeping all columns of your spreadsheet limited to one page. Lexmark Tools for Office works with any printer. With new Lexmark printers, there are even more features. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.

Why do so many (virtually all) software packages think that they are so important that they have to be started automatically every time the computer boots? What is the largest number of "speed access", "update check", "camera download" and whatever other background programs you have ever seen running? Of those, how many did you really need?
