EggTimer is a simple countdown timer that is sort of like the cooking timer you might find in many kitchens. You set a time in minutes, it counts down the time, and an alarm goes off when the time has elapsed. It starts with the counter running. Egg Timer remembers the number of minutes to count from the last time it was run. Egg Timer will start minimized and you may see the counter running in the minimized icon on the task bar. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.

In association with Intel
Why do so many (virtually all) software packages think that they are so important that they have to be started automatically every time the computer boots? What is the largest number of "speed access", "update check", "camera download" and whatever other background programs you have ever seen running? Of those, how many did you really need?
