Generate various configurations of random passwords quickly and easily with this freeware tool. Password Pond's simple list and button interface needs no instruction for intermediate to expert users. A very simple Help file should tell novice users all they need to know.

Operating Password Pond is primarily about setting options. Using simple text boxes you set the length and number of passwords you need. Radio buttons set the passwords' case from lower to upper, or mixed. Using a pull-down menu you easily set the password to numeric, alphabetic characters, special characters, or a combination of all. Users can create a dictionary of words to use as prefixes or suffixes for passwords. A single click generates passwords according to the options. Another click will store the passwords in the clipboard or save them to a file.

Password Pond's quick and simple approach will appeal to administrators, lab managers, and everyday users who need numerous random passwords.

Featured Talkback

Why do so many (virtually all) software packages think that they are so important that they have to be started automatically every time the computer boots? What is the largest number of "speed access", "update check", "camera download" and whatever other background programs you have ever seen running? Of those, how many did you really need?
