Outlook 2007 Tool: Security Hash Generator 2

License Free
Requirements Windows XP
Downloads 258 Limitations None
Publisher Microsoft File Size 126k
Date added 20 Sep 2007 Check your speed

In Microsoft Office Outlook 2007, you can configure security options by using new Group Policy settings. These settings were previously configurable by customizing the Exchange Security Form and publishing the form to an Microsoft Exchange Server public folder. If you want to establish trusted add-ins for Outlook by using Group Policy as part of the Outlook 2007 security options feature, you first run a small program to generate the hash key required when setting the policy. The new hash generator program is necessary because the hash value previously created by the Exchange Server security form now must be created manually and then included in the trusted add-ins Group Policy setting.

This download includes the files required to run the hash generator program and a Readme document with links to more information about using the new Group Policy settings. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.

Why do so many (virtually all) software packages think that they are so important that they have to be started automatically every time the computer boots? What is the largest number of "speed access", "update check", "camera download" and whatever other background programs you have ever seen running? Of those, how many did you really need?
