Use WPPackager to package and deploy Web Parts for use with Microsoft SharePoint Products and Technologies. WPPackager is a tool provided for use with Microsoft SharePoint Products and Technologies. It packages Web Parts, creates an installer and adds code access security permissions during installation. You can use this tool for stand-alone deployments of Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services or deployments of Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003. You can use WPPackager to package and create an MSI for a Web Part solution. Additionally while packaging the Web Part, you can specify additional permissions for the Web Part during installation. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.
