Requirements Windows Me/NT/XP/2003 Server/Vista
Downloads 206 Limitations None
Publisher Soft191 File Size 2.8M
Date added 17 May 2007 Check your speed

Find and delete unnecessary files and folders on your computer, consequently restoring hard-drive space, maintaining your privacy, and keeping your system running smoother. You specify what files to search for (a default list is provided) and which folders/drives to search in. Some of the symptoms of not deleting unnecessary/temporary files can include: Wasted disk space which can impede disk drive performance. Superfluous fragmentation of disk(s). Some applications may begin to function improperly (including lock up and fatal errors). Lost Internet and network connections.

The software is fully configurable, allowing you to control what is searched for and what is deleted. Files matching the types specified are gathered and can be displayed for you to choose which to delete and which to keep. Files can be deleted, wiped (more secure form of deletion), sent to the recycle bin or archived in a ZIP file. Version 1 no longer beta status.

Featured Talkback

Why do so many (virtually all) software packages think that they are so important that they have to be started automatically every time the computer boots? What is the largest number of "speed access", "update check", "camera download" and whatever other background programs you have ever seen running? Of those, how many did you really need?
