TimeSnapper Professional 2.3

License Free to try
Requirements Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 Server/Vista, Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1
Downloads 15 Limitations None
Publisher timeSnapper File Size 1.5M
Date added 14 Mar 2007 Check your speed

TimeSnapper is an automatic screenshot journal and the black box for your computer. It runs in the background of your computer, taking screenshots of your desktop every few seconds all week long. With TimeSnapper you can play back your week just like a movie. You can play it at any speed you like, and jump in at any time you like. When it's time to fill out that dreaded timesheet, TimeSnapper is a savior. TimeSnapper is super cool.

Version 2.3 has possibility to extract text from images to the clipboard right from the day browser (Optical Character Recognition / OCR) if Office 2003/2007 is installed on the same computer (as well as Microsoft Office Document Imaging). New option in the options dialog: Automatically start recording when TimeSnapper starts (same as using the /a command line parameter). A more logical algorithm for calculating idle/active time when selecting time-range in the TimeBar in the day browser.

Featured Talkback

Why do so many (virtually all) software packages think that they are so important that they have to be started automatically every time the computer boots? What is the largest number of "speed access", "update check", "camera download" and whatever other background programs you have ever seen running? Of those, how many did you really need?
