On selecting a newsgroup of interest, NewsWolf will directly connect to your default news server and begin importing the selected newsgroup's article headers. The program will expand news server names from downloaded article headers and check them automatically. The result lists of news servers include their details and whether they accept non-member postings. This program is an excellent companion to your newsreader, greatly extending the speed and access to free newsgroups.
