PhotoStudio Darkroom features non-destructive image processing tools for adjusting white balance, exposure, de-noise, hue and saturation, brightness and contrast, and curves and levels, and for applying color effects such as black & white and sepia. A complete set of lens and chromatic correction tools for fixing barrel, pincushion, and perspective distortions and color fringing issues are also included. ArcSoft is automatic red-eye removal and spot and patch removal technologies have been integrated into the program, letting users perform common blemish removal functions in one click. A "recipe" feature lets users apply the processing performed on one image to other images with a single click. PhotoStudio Darkroom provides broad RAW format support including Canon, Nikon, Panasonic, Adobe DNG, Sony, Kodak, Olympus, Pentax, Ricoh, Leica, FujiFilm, Sigma, Mamiya and Epson. It also allows users to import photos directly into the application from a camera or removable drive.

Version 2.0 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
