Adobe SVG Viewer 3.03

8.0

Editors Rating

License Free
Requirements Windows 98/Me/NT/2000/XP
Downloads 253 Limitations None
Publisher Adobe Systems File Size 2.3M
Date added 31 Aug 2006 Check your speed

View Web-based scalable vector graphics (SVG) images with this browser add-on, but don't expect blazing speed. Using a right-click menu, you can view SVG images in a separate window, zoom in and out, view the source code, and copy or save the image.

This tool is particularly useful for developers or graphic designers who need to manipulate Web site vector images. Both novices and experts will find it simple enough to use right off the bat, but some of our testers found the quick install didn't properly enable the plug-in for Firefox 2.0 users. Another potential issue is that Adobe will discontinue support for this viewer as of January 1, 2008. Still, we recommend this simple tool for anyone interested in viewing or manipulating SVG images for personal or professional reasons.

In association with Intel
Why do so many (virtually all) software packages think that they are so important that they have to be started automatically every time the computer boots? What is the largest number of "speed access", "update check", "camera download" and whatever other background programs you have ever seen running? Of those, how many did you really need?
