Storing your online login information is easy with this simple program, but the relative complexity of the accompanying editor makes this tool less than appealing.

IE AutoLogin is added as a plain but efficient toolbar to IE, holding only a couple of buttons and a drop-down menu to select the login data you want to use. There's also a standalone editor to change login information and customize the fields, but the sparse interface isn't very intuitive and you'll probably need to spend some time with the Help file to fully understand changing the user information.

When you're on a Web site that requires login, the Save icon becomes enabled. Click it and you can store your information as a profile with just one more click. A drop-down menu lists the available profiles so you can log in by simply selecting it. The editor, however, opens a database-driven interface with only two items in the tree listing: User and Internet. You can change the fields in User, but it isn't clear what impact it has on the program overall and it doesn't change any of the fields in saved profiles. The Internet listings are merely your saved profiles. The Help file has several sections but there are some grammatical errors and awkward syntax that indicates English was not the first language of the person who wrote it. As a result, the instructions are hard to follow. On the plus side, you can save multiple profiles for the same site, but your login information is displayed for all to see. The program can be password-protected but not with individual passwords for each user.

There are plenty of programs to store your online login data, and while this one works fine in saving them, part of the package is more complicated than it needs to be. You can try IE AutoLogin, but we suggest you try other demos that are a bit more intuitive.
