Spirit of Fire is a fine 3D screensaver that will bring warm and cozy atmosphere of a fireplace burning in a log cabin right inside your office or home. The fire and the fireplace are done remarkably well - the crackling sounds of burning wood, the blinking light, the shadows. Camera moves around the cabin periodically zooming in and out allowing you to see parts of the interior. Great attention is paid to details. Version 2.4 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Why do so many (virtually all) software packages think that they are so important that they have to be started automatically every time the computer boots? What is the largest number of "speed access", "update check", "camera download" and whatever other background programs you have ever seen running? Of those, how many did you really need?
