This free toolbar works, but there's nothing here that sets it apart from the hundreds of other available toolbars.

Mazag Toolbar fits across your IE window. All of the standard shortcut buttons are there, including a pop-up blocker, weather forecast, and e-mail notification. All worked well for us. The Alexa PageRank button failed to load on the toolbar, though we were able to click on it to bring up the Alexa page. The RSS ticker speed was a bit distracting, but each link on the ticker took us to its corresponding page. We were able to add our favorite applications such as MS Word and Excel, but there's a lot of wasted space on the toolbar. We tried to add gadgets to the toolbar using the provided link, but you have to download the LabPixies toolbar to add any gadgets.

While Mazag Toolbar works, there are plenty of other toolbars out there that offer more options.

Featured Talkback

Why do so many (virtually all) software packages think that they are so important that they have to be started automatically every time the computer boots? What is the largest number of "speed access", "update check", "camera download" and whatever other background programs you have ever seen running? Of those, how many did you really need?
