It lets through pop-ups for entering passwords via secure connections, as well as ones you've approved. Should an unauthorized pop-up slip by, you can report it to the developers with a click.
Though Pop-Up Sentry is not primarily an adware blocker, it does a better job than many specialized utilities. At 16MB, the program does consume a considerable amount of memory when running in the background. However, when supplemented with a free spyware scanner, Pop-Up Sentry provides a formidable line of defense for your PC.
