HS VideoCapture is a tool which captures videos from a video source and records them in avi format. It supports all video / audio codecs installed in the system. It is designed simply, so slower systems may record good quality videos. Recorded video size limit is two gigabytes. It supports scheduling and a timer which shutdowns the computer after recording is completed which can be very useful when recording is at night. Codecs with good quality compression are available in the internet. Some of them are free of charge. Using appropriate codec, this software will be a must for your custom videos.

Version 1.5 adds the ability to select output folder from menu and fixes minor bugs.

Why do so many (virtually all) software packages think that they are so important that they have to be started automatically every time the computer boots? What is the largest number of "speed access", "update check", "camera download" and whatever other background programs you have ever seen running? Of those, how many did you really need?
