Internet advertising and pop-ups can slow down your browsing to a tenth of its speed. Ads also can track and record your browsing habits. FilterGate can eliminate all this distracting and intrusive clutter by intelligently blocking pop-up and pop-under windows, banner and tower ads, JavaScript, Web bugs, referrers, rogue cookies, graphics, music, blinking text, and applets. Also, when all you need is high-speed information, turn on the Text Only mode for graphic-free browsing. FilterGate prevents the viewing and downloading of adult content via its user-password-protected AdultFilter. AdultFilter gives you the added ability to build your own personalized list of sites to be blocked or accessed. FilterGate has now combined all filters into one friendly and easy-to-use package. Once you purchase FilterGate you are automatically entitled to free, unlimited upgrades and enhancements.

Version 5.21 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Featured Talkback

Why do so many (virtually all) software packages think that they are so important that they have to be started automatically every time the computer boots? What is the largest number of "speed access", "update check", "camera download" and whatever other background programs you have ever seen running? Of those, how many did you really need?
