Easy Index Generator provides a creation of configurable index files (files of contents) for any files types in HTML (both as single page and as frameset) and HHC formats, which can be used in CHM (HTMLHelp), e-books, online help, as DataCD menu, as a site map of your Web site providing access to HTML pages, graphics, media files, shared documents, applications, and archives. You can specify which types of files will be indexed and sort project items by moving them up and down, creating logical sections. Program can create two types of tree menus of indexed files in a target HTML file static menus and click-to-open menus. Generated files are automatically placed in the indexed folders. Version 2.1.0 build 100 features new interface, allows to add navigation links to indexed WEB pages, and supports text and graphical navigation links types. Version 3.0.1 build 108 may include Czech, Korean, Portuguese, Portuguese Brazilian and Swedish interface languages; Added support for some new encodings (GB2312, Big5, Shift_JIS, EUC-KR); The project can be saved in a special format and later opened in program for further working with it; The names of four last opened projects are remembered in program history in File menu; Other small improvements and bug fixes. Indexing HTML files only, 15 files to index.
