Monkey Explorer performs scheduled keyword searches of Web pages and reports the results via a desktop notification, e-mail, or user defined program. It is desktop software available to perform a Web page defined micro-search. Monkey Explorer can perform queries and let you know via email when a keyword search is successful. It also has the ability to let you know when it can no longer successfully retrieve a keyword. This allows it to monitor file shares and Web pages, and then send e-mail when it can no longer retrieve a keyword; effectively letting you know that something is not responding correctly.

Monkey Explorer integrates into Internet Explorer for easy search scheduling. HTML template based email notifications provide the flexibility to use Monkey Explorer as a server downtime monitor, a celebrity news gathering tool, an online auction or classifieds monitor, an ISP monitoring tool or even as an automatic responder to items posted on free sites.
