AutoComplete Express (ACE) assists users of your Web site as they type information into HTML forms. Based on the characters typed by the user (including * as a wildcard), ACE suggests possible values to be picked from. List of matching values appears when users change an input field, and is refreshed quickly after each letter. No need to click a 'Search' button. The box disappears when users leave the enabled fields. Users can pick on one of the suggested values by clicking on or using arrow keys.

ACE reduces typing time, prevents typo errors and ensures users enter valid data. The collections of values users are expected to choose from can be rather huge; hundreds of thousands of entries can be scanned within a fraction of a second. ACE is installed as a Web application or can be used in JavaScript-only mode. Version 1.1.9 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
