Keeping a watchful eye on your kids' computer habits and limiting usage is easy with this software, though we noticed some discrepancies. The interface is particularly bland but easy to maneuver. A quick setup wizard starts by letting you determine whether to remove the program's name from the Control Panel and to halt system clock adjustments. Via hot-key access, it reports where users have been and how long they stayed, plus you can block unsuitable sites with its Web-filtering features. You'll also like its time scheduler to grant or block access to the computer all together. During testing, the program logs URLs and applications opened, and captures screenshots, but it didn't record keyloggers as it states. With only seven days to check it out and a considerable download size (nearly 26 MBs), PC Monitor is still a viable solution for controlling computer access and monitoring activities.
