Check your speedPocket War is a strategic turn-based war game much like the old Empire, or modern day Advanced Wars games. You start with a single city that can produce a variety of war machines. By choosing what to manufacture and sending orders to your troops, you give your men the guidance they need to vanquish the computer, but beware the computer will be trying to do the same to you.
Version 1.58 changes Pocket War by removing a lot of the randomness that used to be in the game. This allows the player to calculate the exact amount of damage a unit will do to a city, or another unit. This allows the player to make much more strategic moves. This version also removes all of the "futuristic" units and replaces them with modern day instruments of war and updates the images for all the units and cities to give Pocket War a more realistic look.
The installer includes both the PC and Pocket PC versions of the game.
