This telephone-directory application is easy to use but lacks a flexible search tool. Pakistan Telephone Directory offers a simple interface that lets you search by phone number or name in many Pakistani cities. Matches are displayed to the right. In our tests, the program returned few results and those it did locate didn't always match online sources. Though this program proved very easy to use, we were disappointed by the limited search options and minimal returns. The program only covers personal residences, not business names or numbers. No help file is offered and the program doesn't provide information on the sources for its directory. Even though anyone can use this freeware application, users in need of reliable and consistent information regarding Pakistani telephone numbers should look elsewhere.

In association with Intel
Why do so many (virtually all) software packages think that they are so important that they have to be started automatically every time the computer boots? What is the largest number of "speed access", "update check", "camera download" and whatever other background programs you have ever seen running? Of those, how many did you really need?
