Check your speedTrue to its claim, this CD-burning application boasts a user-friendly design, although its somewhat stingy trial limitation and omission of certain key features restrict it to middle-of-the-road status. No matter which of the two skins you choose, Ease MP3 CD Burner's layout is unlikely to confuse, with clearly labeled icons for adding files, setting burning speeds up to 32X, and writing discs. However, since the main window isn't resizable and the fields within the file queue can't be widenend, you may not be able to see filenames if your MP3s, OGGs, WAVs, or WMAs originate from subfolders. The program can erase CD-RWs, but you can't use it to create data or ISO discs, a feature we consider to be standard on burning apps these days. You also can't choose to simply copy a CD. In our tests, the program worked just fine, although we wouldn't call its speed supersonic. We also should note the trial version limits you to six files per disc, so it may not be the ideal solution for creating long mix CDs. All told, Ease MP3 CD Burner best suits newbies who don't need to be distracted by extraneous features.
