ComponentSoftware RCS (CS-RCS) is a document management and version control system for Windows. Fully integrated with the Windows Explorer and MS-Office tools, it provides an easy access to all major functions. CS-RCS handles all types of documents including MS-Office documents, HTML documents, pictures, drawings and program files. CS-RCS supports revision tagging and powerful search on MS-Word and MS-Excel documents. CS-RCS can use any file server or local drive to store the archive repository. Network connection to the archive repository can be LAN, corporate wide-area network (WAN), Virtual Private Networks (VPN), dial-in terminal services connection and the Internet. CS-RCS supports Internet access to co-located projects by native client or any Internet browser.
