This personal organizer boasts a laundry list of features, but its interface and operation leave a lot to be desired. A PIM program should look clutter-free when you launch it, but All-in-1 Personal Organizer amateurish's main window pushes the limits with too many panes, buttons, and icons. We'd guess most users will need to consult the help file to get a handle on the program. And the fact that you have to open or create a database to even get to the main window only adds to the confusion. A toolbar gives access to most functions, but you also can get to them by right-clicking anywhere in the interface. Thankfully, there are plenty of organizational features to choose from, including a calendar, sticky notes, a contact manager, and tools for organizing your media collection. You'll also find a few self-improvement features and even an image viewer, though the omission of alarms or other types of reminders seems like a significant oversight. All things considered, All-in-1 Personal Organizer best suits folks who need novel features and have a lot of patience; otherwise, simpler options are readily available.

Featured Talkback

Why do so many (virtually all) software packages think that they are so important that they have to be started automatically every time the computer boots? What is the largest number of "speed access", "update check", "camera download" and whatever other background programs you have ever seen running? Of those, how many did you really need?
