PowerProducer 5 enables you to capture HD video from the latest generation of digital camcorders and then burn it onto DVDs and Blu-ray re-writeable discs. You can personalize your discs with your own style of menus, music, editing effects and photos. Widescreen support allows you to produce discs with cinematic feel and quality, and then enjoy them on a consumer home player or device. PowerProducer now supports the authoring of high-definition AVCHD content onto DVD disc media.

You can store large volumes of high-definition content and author high-definition home movies on Blu-ray Discs , AVCHD discs and play back on Blu-ray Disc players. Dolby Digital 5.1-channel lets you experience surround sound audio while playing your own movies on a home theater system. PowerProducer 5 allows you to edit your videos and pictures. A new slideshow feature and improved MagicTools make it even easier to achieve stylish results.

Version 5 adds AVCHD format support, and new editing functions.
