Check your speedThis application lets you create shortcuts to frequently used programs and manage them in a central location, but it isn't as robust as expected. Montage, with its bland, Windows-based interface, eases the process of creating, editing, and viewing shortcuts for your files and programs. You can configure shortcut properties, specify the target application, and define the shortcut position and size, although the abbreviated descriptions for the dialog boxes threw us a bit. Unlike similar programs, Montage doesn't allow you to organize your shortcuts or group them into categories. Likewise, launching programs isn't as robust as expected. With such a relatively weak performance, we are thankful it's freeware. Anyone can try this application, but multitaskers and others who seek time savings may want more power and additional features.
